I forgot to say that I'm still building this out and would love feedback.
@Ismael, I haven't but I will. I'm not a fan of them when the links are on the very top of the page but who knows, it may just look amazing! I love your ideas. Keep 'em coming.
+1 for Ismael's suggestion. I think 1px dividers for the navigation items would look great. :)
Personally, I'm not a fan of the 1px line on the bottom of the navigation. I feel like it throws off the depth, considering the darkening of the background right before the navigation.
BTW - this client wants me to make this header about 1000px in height with absolutely no content, just objects. Please pray for me as I go on this conference call tomorrow. #cfh
Oh I LOVE the color and texture on this. Particularly what I like about it is the way you've found a healthy balance between "outdoorsy" and modern texture/feel. It speaks nature/land/property but is still very much modern and contemporary feeling. Nice work!!!

This is incredible. Wow, everything's just 'right', the colours, typography, layout, everything. Well done. :)

This looks awesome. I like the 1px white border under the navigation and the white text shadow on "The Wood..." Looks fantastic.
Have you tried putting pixel dividers between the words in the navigation?

Well even if they don't touch the top or bottom. Maybe they can have a masked gradient above and on top but yet showing a subtle divider :)

Thanks Dalton. I already added the 1px dividers and it looks great. I'll post a link later on.
As far as that 1px line, honestly, that's one of my favorite details. But thanks for the suggestion.

What about a subtle wood texture to the active navigation element?

The nav is pretty, but what really shines is the content underneath the navigation. Nice job Gedy! Me likes.

If you still want feedback on the build, post a link. I'd love to see it (and i'm sure others here too)
