Rosy Succulents

I noticed the pattern on the petals of many rosacea plants seems to be eerily similar to the vegetative growth pattern of many succulent plants; Even more so, red, associated with roses, is the complimentary colour of green, the colour associated with most succulents; Isn't nature amazing?
