fantastic work - you got a great sense of where to put those strokes.
However one thing is bugging me! And its just personal opinion but right bang on in the center within the beak you have a squared off stroke and visually it just annoys me, my eyeballs are drawn to it every time! But thats just a stupid pet peeve, feels like that smooth V-shape should be continuing rather then cut off.

I agree with you. And I think it's the anti-aliasing artefact that gives the perception of a squared off stroke, because it's just too tiny. Perhaps the smooth curve from the eyebrows to the beak should be continued. Thanks for the pet peeve! :P

well done. it would be a nice update to the "Give a Hoot, Don't Polute" campaign from the 80's, except Woodsy the Owl is kind of pissed.
