Stylistically beautiful. A great exercise in aesthetic. However, I don't think it considers the biggest use-case of IMDB, "Ugh... what else was she in?" "What else did I see from this director?"
From this design it's really hard to quickly browse the cast and their respective filmography. IMDB is the social graph of the film world. This design doesn't highlight any way in which movies and crew are connected.

This is probably one of the best - if not THE best - redesign concept I've ever seen (and I have seen a lot!).

Wow I'm really loving this ! Great work ! The videos may not be easy to find in the pictures wall, though. But it's a very interesting redesign concept :)

It's pretty, but this design shoves all the content to the bottom and collapses them. It would make more sense to place the huge grid of images/trivia in a sidebar and pull up the main content.
