WIP - Pelican Cycling Club

Two things I love are running, and cycling. Cycling culture, especially racing and its history, has always fascinated me. So I've decided to make up a fictional cycling club and go through the entire branding process.

The colors on here are just for presentation, I'll be going through actual color development this week and next week.

I'd appreciate it if you checked out the attachment to see some of the process and let me know what things were working and what weren't. I've moved on from the mark itself for now so I can focus on developing the logotype, but I'll take your suggestions to make some revisions. Thanks!
