    outside of telling them to tweak their logo, this looks great. I would carry the slab-serif type (is that Arvo from google's web fonts?) to the "luxury retreats title/link in the slider tho. Did you create the woodgrain or is it from a photo?

    Looks great Janna, I really like the "3D" effect with the shadows, I think if you added a hint of shadow to the bottom the title tags of the boxes, I think it could give the images a little more depth, since the images are already "jumping" out of the page..

    the logo is unpleasant. i find it not matching the whole layout. shadows, transparency, textures, too many color shades - i find this puzzling. i suggest going simpler, avoid associating tons of styles. maybe start again.

    Maybe the most apparent thing thats disturbing me are the / between menu items, they are too apparent, maybe try making them more subtle with a shade of gray?

    Other then that i love this, simple yet kind of cosy! Can't wait to see the whole thing...!

    Took a peek at the full screen shot and it looks really nice! The only thing I saw that might need tweaking is the wood texture in the footer is not playing nicely on wanting to be a repeating pattern.

    The only thang is,

    You have home twice.... Even E.T wanted to go home, but not sure if he wanted to THAT much.

    The apostrophe and the 'S' seem a little too far apart. But maybe they're on a "break". I did hear 'S' was a massive bitch.
