HelpDesk for Jira Software Tutorial Video

software tutorial video

Hello Dribbble!

We got a request from a longtime client to make a tutorial video for HelpDesk for Jira. It's a plugin the client's company has been developing as an alternative to Jira Service Desk.

HelpDesk for Jira helps users interact with external clients on support issues such as creating support requests through a simple client portal, working with requests while taking SLA into account, etc.

The main objective was to showcase the product's features and emphasize how easy it is to use.

To illustrate HelpDesk for Jira's functionality, we decided to focus on a specific use case in the video.

We often use screenshots in software tutorial videos. The key here is to take screenshots in a high resolution so we can zoom in on specific areas and move around freely without sacrificing image quality.

Also, by using the browser's developer mode, we can adjust the Web page's content to display nominal information instead of actual data.

Before we started developing a storyboard, we came up with a styleframe.

Check out the variety of the color scheme and design options.

Our client used this video at their booth at Atlassian Summit, an annual in-person event.

As a result, they reported a ~26% increase in booth attendance.

'We have got a lot of positive feedback from our potentials on the event and even from the other event sponsors,' the client shared.
