Continuing to learn the pen tool...

I think you've nailed it ;)
Haha, thanks dude :)
PS or Illustrator? Just curious.
PS. I haven't gotten the hang of Ai yet ;)
Ha. Neither have I, man. Neither have I.
:)
I was seriously disappointed not to see any hobbits
Oh man! How could I forget to include hobbits ;)
I'm still struggling with the bleeding pen tool :(. Any tips ;)?
@ Wills - yes - practice and trial and error! and maybe these old posts:
http://www.blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/articles/two-simple-techniques-to-help-you-master-the-pen-tool
http://typies.blogspot.com/2006/11/vector-drawing-mistakes.html - this one is really old, but is good. makes sense of where to put your points, where not to, how long the handles should be and all that stuff. Bezier simplified
I also put this into readability - https://www.readability.com/articles/shppgb3k
not sure if this will appear the same way there?
Looks fun! Try smaller sizes too maybe?
Nice! I'm trying to get the hang of the pen tool in PS also. Ai is so much easier for me, must be because I learned Ai first : /
These are sooo clean.
please don't tell me you made this with the pen tool ? you used common shapes right ?
Love the eye btw.
@Wills - Try turning on the grid and make sure "Snap to Grid" is active.
@Markus - Thanks, yeah I'm practicing an smaller icons as well :)
@Michael - One day I'm gonna learn Ai ;)
@Andy - Thanks :)
@Jaun - The pen tool was used for all the shapes, except for the circles in the Gear, Eye and Clock (faster to just use pre-made circle).
That eye is great. I love the little circle. Gives a great amount of depth while maintaining the 2D shape. Great job.
Thanks Joshua :)
So beautifull!
