    Hmmm, while I do agree with Oliver and Michael about the Gestures symbol, it is very hard to think of something else in its place. I think the Trackpad works. :-)

    Yeah, maybe you're right guys — trackpad is not an obvious icon for gestures. It was made just for practice and actually labels were added after I made an icon. And I still like it. Maybe I just should add some dots on it, to represent finger taps or something.

    Nice job till now. But there are some imperfections :

    The "T" of appearance is blurred. Got to be the job of the infamous Adobe Type Engine™. I think you should shift to hand drawn paths for it.
    Bottom part of last three icons have a blurry feel to them. I think that it was an attempt to give the sense of depth. If that is the case, try giving a contrast between the two parts, it will give them more definition.
    The badge of the notifications icon looks blurry. If they were made with a layer style, try playing with the range option and that smoothes them out on most cases for me.
    Also, I think, making the stroke of the top red part of the calendar red would make it look better, also may be a subtle inner shadow ? Sloppy edit example : http://cl.ly/3N1m0J2L3Q103u0j1T3U
    And do you think a recycle like symbol would be better to denote "sync" instead of "23" on the Calendar.
    Lastly, typo on the labels. It should be Appe*a*rance.

    Damn, that looks like a brutal verbal attack on your rather good work. Sorry about it, but I think these changes would make it look better :) I really like the metaphors and the above noted gestures idea. Are you working on the UI of the app too ?
