Finally added animation to the cart sprites. Just a quick highlight, not too distracting. Not in love with the 2-bit Gameboy cart but I'll figure it out eventually.
I love these shots. Though, I feel like the difference between the 8-bit and 16-bit sprites is so small compared to the others. Maybe that isn't a valid concern though.
I'm holding out on dithering for as long as I can. Dithering with pixels this size doesn't fit the Mimeo aesthetic (eg. too grungy, not cartoony enough).

This is probably a really obvious suggestion, but have you tried checkerboard dithering the 2-bit highlight?
