Vesica Piscis, Balance + Creation

The Vesica Piscis is a mathematical shape that's been used for centuries. While it has taken on multiple representations (usually differing slightly based on religion), they all share the underlying universal meaning of balance and creation. In Egypt, this shape was representative of Goddess Maat, the 'Cosmic Mother'. In Judaism, this shape was the root element of the Flower of Life.

I'm drawn to it as balance drives creation, and creation relates to consciousness. As humans, we need to find balance for our own creation to flourish – and once it does, the act of creating unlocks new and deeper connections to something greater than ourselves.

The Vesica Piscis is typically presented in it's smallest form (see below) but I love its ability to continue to build upon itself, with each layer of circles adding more complexity and drawing more and more connection points. When we're able to pause and find our balance through meditation or movement, we can grow and expand.

Terre~Prana is an intuitive creative consulting offering where I work with founders and creators to help them find that balance and flow into a vibrational wave unique to them and their spirit.
