   Thanks for the comments guys! @ Harald and Stephen my goal on the next app is to go more simple and elegant so I don't give the developers a heart attack. ;)

   @Hampus the font used is Knockout, I believe the specific one was Knockout No. 67, Full Bantamweight from Hoefler & Frere-Jones

    I like the woodgrain background. I believe it is the contrast between the app and the woodgrain that makes the app stand out so nicely.

    @Jonatan I sampled a few background choices. From solid colors to corkboard and wood. It was definitely used to give the content some contrast but there is something to be said if you can achieve the look without using such heavy imagery. These are quick mockups so I don't try to solve all the problems just a few key elements and move on. I really appreciate your work so your feedback is definitely welcomed.
