No prob Alan. I like the style you've used here. Just, like I said, the splash elements and the giant drop don't feel appropriate together, specifically the very small splashes and the dot right under the main drop.
It's important to note that I'm not entirely sure what you were going for here as realism isn't always the goal or necessary. For instance, if this were an App icon, I might not mind the relationship between the splash and the drop so much. Things don't always have to be realistic to be good.
Another thing I notice is that it appears you've added some noise to the yellow background. The default noise will be black and/or white dots depending on the blend mode you use. Problem with this is that the black on yellow makes for a muddy, gross darkening of the base yellow. If you want to darken yellow or orange for that matter, I would suggest using orange or red as the noise color rather than black. This will give you a much nicer blend of colors when using yellow/orange/red.

it does look like an oil drop but the tiny splashes and the giant drop don't really make much sense together
