This is a glance of a symbol making process which I'm going through during a project assignment. Over the years I created literally thousands of different - and sometimes very distinctive - symbols and icons.
This rather huge personal symbols library often serves as a source of inspiration from where I grab several bits & pieces for different logo design projects. The recent logo for Offworld Games is an example of that process as well.
Another selection can be seen at my other website at www.idgram.com
Hope you like it.

Absolutely lovely! Huge fan!
Thanks Joel :P
My favorites: first row 2nd from the right, second and third row 1st from the left, fourth row 1st from the left and 2nd from the right :)
Damn these are cool. Tribal... :)
@Alen, you have a very define and delicate taste. Thanks for viewing mate.
Remarkable work, really!
The collection on your website is quite impressive, both in number and quality. Most of them seem to be ready to work as a company logo. I can even imagine what the company's business is just by looking at them. :P
Thanks Pedro. So often a very nice and exclusive symbol just starts to appear, even when its purpose was totally different from the project I was assigned to. Thanks for viewing.
cool stuff. I bet that is a great resource.
time to sell these to Transformers, Zelda, and other video games!
these are so awesome
That is really a impressive collection you've got there, Gert.
You must have put in such an enormous amount of time into this and it really is a handy resource to have. Definitely worthwhile.
@Aldrich: Great suggestion :)
@Emir: In fact, almost my entire design life went into it, lol
yes, very inspiring:)
Wow. These are so lovely-- simple and intricate at the same time, and all very unique! Truly an art form you've perfected.
Thanks for these great comments.Love you guys. Frankly I didn't expect a lot of feedback from this. I certainly didn't expect a lot of you actually find them inspiring.
Personally, symbols and iconography dictated my life as long as I can remember. I just can't seem to get enough of it.
Some very cool looking ones in there Gert! Good job man.
Awesome stuff, Gert, awesome marks.
Now I feel like I need to start sitting down and just designing symbols so I can have a cool collection!
Yeah well, if a unique personal collection is something you're interested in, then I think that's the only way to gain one :P
Gert, Nice work man! Very cool!
Killer marks x20
Your work is by far the best I have seen here on dribbble when it comes to logos and brandmarks. This is what I call art.
