Nice work Simon. I love the colors and the scissor edge borders (LOL is that the correct term to use?).

I also like the circle but "August Newsletter" is not centered vertically. However, I also noticed you have it lined up with "Compan.."

Looks really nice Simon, it's going to be a beautiful newsletter! I'm curious about how you're going to get the background images working across all email clients though; or is it just going to revert back to solid colours in older apps?

Dean: I'm leaving the actual building of the things to the experts. And they really are the experts. Anyway, it's the same as websites; things don't have to look the same in all browsers/clients. There will be sensible fallbacks for Outlook etc.

I design and build a LOT of html emails, but unfortunately the majority of the receivers use Outlook, so we have to keep the design minimal-minimal. Would love to see how this looks live :)
