The Best Type of Torn

Someone inspired by peaceful surroundings to move into their own swirl of thoughts. Using an abstract reference image of mostly green and yellow hues in an oil painting effect, I prompted Midjourney for someone sitting by a riverbank.

When I'm next to beautiful surroundings like the riverside and countryside, the visions in the moment are special, but they also let me wander more freely in my own mind too. I think this image captures that dual aspect very well.

That's where the title comes from. Most of the time we're distracted when torn between two or more things. But the freedom to flit between both with a pleasing interplay is a type of torn I'm happy to experience!

Below is the reference image I used, as well as a totally different image that came from it...Well, it came along as a combination of five images based off the original reference image anyway. Yep, the journey can have many twists and turns! In fact, I've also added a montage of those five images for you below too.

That final picture may look totally different to The Best Type of Torn above, but it reminds me of water too; this time as a cascade that's swirling around. The movement cuts through with the contrasting colours, lines, and shapes.
