The House of Wisdom
Bayt al-Hikmah was known as the House of Wisdom.
The House of Wisdom was located in Baghdad, Iraq. It was the place where translators, scientists, scribes, authors, mathematicians and others would come to share and seek knowledge. The House of Wisdom became a intellectual center during the Islamic Golden Age and become a spot where men and women from many faiths and ethnicities would come together.
