I am sharing further insights from the new timeline editor concept for Artboard Studio. I did work on the concept of new controls and integrated keyframes. It's a newer and first prototype, so some user experience and functionality issues need to be resolved, yet it's a fresh and smooth animating experience than the current one.

They were combined with the layers panels and the keyframes as a single uniform of easy-handle taglike keyframes. So with a chevron arrow, you can access the keyframes points below the layer.
