I agree with Navjot. I think the corner radius of the inner ring is the same as the outer. Are you using illustrator? If so. You should not scale the ring but use object > offset path. That wil fix the problem. Other than that, great revision of the Safari icon. :)

Here's my try for a Safari Icon, thought I'd try making something with better depth and texture than the current icon, like an old compass. ;-)

The corners look odd. Maybe because the corner-radius of the second markings & the chrome don't match?

I think so, I think I got the corners trick wrong but I looked up the right way of doing it, easy fix. :-)
