@Erik I'm thinking about adding the infamous Game Boy blurry motion trail and flickery NES sprites but first things first :)
@Dan Game Boy green monochrome it is! 4-bits, one for each shade of green.
I'm planning on treating the audio the same way I'm doing the graphics. 2-bit would feature a simple melody, 4-bit might add a baseline, then 8-bit arpeggios and drums, followed 16-bit harmonies.
