Hector Branding
Hector is a company that specializes in creating financial products and services for the decentralized finance industry. Their goal is to empower people by giving them full control over their financial assets. In the past year, Hector.Network approached Unfold to help create a new brand identity that reflected their commitment to building an open, transparent community and innovative platform.
The brand name, Hector, is inspired by the Trojan prince from Greek mythology. As such, we wanted to incorporate elements of ancient Greek mythology into the visual style of the brand. The logo, which is based on the architectural columns of that time period, is just one example of this theme. The color palette and typography also incorporate earthy tones and bold serif fonts to further embrace the historic nature of the brand. Ultimately, our goal was to create a visual style that pays tribute to the past while also being relevant and modern in the world of web3 technology.
