About this project:

Employes is a Dutch payroll administration and human resources solution for employers and employees. The previous logo was a simple word mark so we worked together to replace it with a modern and friendly logo. It combines a payslip and a smile to highlight the fact the tool is user-friendly and easy to use, making payrol admin a breeze for anyone.

After two batched of sketched logo concepts we landed on a few ideas we really liked. After some experimentation we narrowed it down to our favourite direction which we then fully fleshed out. The logo is based on a simple grid to keep the logo clean, and easily scalable and pixel perfect on a variety of sizes. And as usual we made sure we logo is usable on a variety of background colors, orientations, and even as a simple and recognisable iOS icon.
