VIVA - Creative Agency for the Culture

VIVA is an arts, music and culture-centric creative collective that encourages young audiences of African descent to champion their heritage. They are an embodiment of their culture, and use their platform to empower their audience to be their true selves.

Through distribution of creative campaigns and activations, the hosting of events such as festivals, art exhibitions and gala's across London, the UK and Africa, they take pride in showcasing real, authentic stories. In 2022 being your authentic self has never been championed more. VIVA opens the doors to creative talent, providing a platform that challenges that status quo through art, creativity and experiences. They are a sleek and well presented brand with cultural appeal, confident and unapologetically themselves, creative innovation is at their core.

VIVA in 3 words: Creative, Authentic, Influential

Images display the visual style and aesthetic we are able to achieve through application of the brand fonts, colors and assets. These are all examples of what we can do - giving you many designs depicting how your brand looks in a number of different visual scenarios.

For headings and display lettering, VIVA uses AKIRA Expanded. AKIRA expanded is a bold, wide set display typeface. Very easy to read, it's the perfect choice in reflecting who VIVA are, and balances well with the visual language we use across brand collateral. Montserrat is an open source typeface.

Providing clarity and easy eligibility, it works well in supporting AKIRA in your sub-heading and body copy. Written language used across the brand uses confident, expressive language that implements words, phrases and terminology commonly found in the Millenial/Gen-Z culture. It playfully mixes humor and confidence with a gentle dose of attitude, to clearly position VIVA as knowledgeable about the space, communicating effectively with their target demographic and successfully pushing them to reach their growth targets following brand relaunch.
