Portfolio gallery
A quick gif to demonstrate some of the projects used in my new portfolio site.
I find myself frustrated by portfolio sites that simply show an 'above the fold' comp of a website. For me, web design is about creating components and systems, and applying them over a series of pages; its about making things easy to use.
As a result I created a series of screencaptured videos of the sites being used, with a text overlay of the client and services used. I also assigned each project its own colour, usually taken from the primary colour of the brand palette, and transitioned this behind each screen.
