Yea, is that supposed to be hung onto a wall? Or laid on the floor? Either way, needs shadows, I think.
And please, tell me that's stock leather.

@Alexis, the wood grain is just an afterthought for the purpose of contrast - will definitely add a shadow to anchor it.

Is this real leather or real 'fake' leather? Answer carefully. :0)
This is stunning, almost, and I mean 'so almost' photographic in quality. The detail in the brass hoop is awesome.

@Graham its real fake leather that has been enhanced? :) I usually stay away from bevel and emboss, but used it almost exclusively here! The grommet is just an 'O' with lots of bevel and emboss.
