    I'm working on some logos for my wife's jewelry company. It's fun to try work in styles that I don't get to use for commissioned work. I wish I could do more stuff that's inspired by retro ephemera.

    I like the overall style a lot. I feel like the A seems a little forced. I think it might be ok, and even interesting, to not be symmetrical.

    @Joshua - thanks for the feedback. This was a result in solving a legibility problem. The "D" was given unique serifs because it was reading like an "O". The second "A" was given the same serif treatment to maintain internal logic. The x-height is consistent throughout, so the "a" definitely looks retro-fied!

    Really like this palette and retro style.

    Per what Joshua was saying (and I could be way off here) would you be able to enlarge the 'ayn' in the middle? I think the second A might look better by contrast.

    Either way, really digging this.
