    Nice, love the dark colour scheme. The search box looks pretty clear to me, although you could always try lightening the "search by common.." text slightly to make sure it's definitely clear enough (or try a heavier weight). That's a nice ampersand too by the way!

    Thanks Claire! I agree that the search helper text needs to be a bit lighter. Or maybe 'find a plant' just needs to be more prominent.

    The serif font is HVD Fonts Livory.

    Nice typeface, Elyse. Digging the searchbox, but maybe a real faint border around might help it look more like an input? Might disrupt the subtlety you have going on though.
