Netflix - Maya & the Three promo GIF

I was part of a exquisite corpse collaboration project for the Netflix series "Maya and the Three"! It's been years since I've animated something by myself, but this tribute to my mentor/friend Jorge Gutierrez was the perfect chance to get out of this self-imposed 2D animation retirement 😊. Action is not my strong suit so I had fun animating Maya and Chiapa with a "lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to" kind of vibe.
