Working on a new character. Supposed to be a skeleton robot, but it's not quite there yet. Still a bit too creepy looking, which is not what I'm going for. Just thought I'd share a draft.

I'd say give it more of an infant look (bigger eyes, forehead). You're nearly there. Bottom right is my fav.

@Erik — Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try going that route.
@Yaron — I have a baby cintiq so I sketch directly with that. Saves trees, money (markers can get expensive), and time in the end.
Thanks guys. I'm actually quite surprised the bottom right is preferred. At least that gives me some better direction to go with on the next round.

I think the robot's head width should be in between the top right and bottom right. too skinny gives a creepy vibe and too wide gives a low IQ vibe. I'm interested in seeing the updates.
