Suunto watch concept

Experimental UI and navigation concept for future Suunto watches.

Rather than a touchscreen UI the concept explores a physical way to navigate and interact with the device making it easier to use while outdoors, for example while wearing gloves.

The watch bezel works as a navigation wheel when rotated and as a “select” button when pressed. Additional button on the side of the watch functions as a “back” button to eliminate accidental selections by the user.

The watch menu is accessed with a long press of the bezel, the growing white circle is indicating the required length for the long press.
