Wedding Invitation Suite Creation

This invitation suite features neutral tones and minimal layout. Inspired by the delicacy of the Honorable Mrs. Thomas Graham in Thomas Gainsborough’s painting, this suite evokes femininity and a sober atmosphere. A charming merge between serif fonts and calligraphy accents highlights the natural look of handmade paper. A velum wrap with a crest covers the invitation, all tied with a thin twine and a blank wax seal. To add texture to the suite we combined vellum paper with handmade paper. We used modern calligraphy for vows, place cards and envelope addressing in white, black and gilded ink. An accent we used for extravagance is the tassel attached to some of the place cards.
