Lake Party - MIDDAY

"Throw your phone into a lake" was a themed party in 2022 put-on by my friends @wwwnewnostalgia - a SF/NYC based DJ trio. Prior to entering the venue guests give up their phones and in doing so, they are transported to a remote alpine lake where they may no longer rely on digital facades for social lubrication. 

Party-goers experience 5 DJ sets through minimal lighting, 90's inspired projections, and neo-house rhythms that take them on an audio/visual journey from the serenity of a sunny day to the sinister darkness of a lightning storm.
