A very experimental idea of a background switcher for a WIP app. Fold is a bit metallic, will need a bit more refinements :)

OMG What a awesome idea!
Thank you my friend! :D
Since the white background is made out of cloth, I'd suggest adding texture on the fold, too.
Thanks guys, much appreciated! :)
Phillipp, absolutely right, I might just use a similar fabric texture, initially I wanted a back-end to look more artificial, a 'sticky' surface that can be peeled off to reveal a different bg.
Nice idea, I like it!
Incredible concept, Fabio! Maybe try to make the curl backside a bit less shiny and metallic, so that it looks a bit more like paper, but that is up to personal preference, I guess...
Looks like great idea that's somewhat an established interaction (at least on the Mac) and using it in a pretty unique way without losing people. I noticed that on the bottom right where the "page" folds it's almost a straight line where as the top left is nice curve.
Muy bien Fabio, felicidades. :)
I think that this looks very cool, but I also think that is very small, it will be hard to get my pointer on those buttons in a real fast work-flow.
@Nacho I dont think you will stay changing the BG... you will just choose the one you likes more and dont ever go to that button... IMO anyway ;P
Visualy it is cool. On a UX perspective I'd have a lot of questions. You know are your users really going to be changing the background of the app so much it warrants a fancy button? Also, are the two radial buttons needed, why not just click under the curl to change...when it goes black, a white portion appears.
Fantastic idea, would this feature make sense in the application though? Would it be used enough to have present all the time.
I can't quite work out whether or not the button below has any relation to the radio buttons or not.
I know you had mentioned this is a 'very experimental idea' so I may be way off line here and not noticed that it's simply used as a template for the feature.
Oh my! A native Mac app that actually looks like a native Mac app and not some freeform art experiment nor an iOS app. Thank God.
Very innovative. Great idea!
Love this idea. Very in line with the iPhone map app - the behavior is already being taught, and this'll be adopted really easy.
I think you might just have started a new trend with this shoot. Amazing love every pixel of it!
Beautiful Idea! I also have a Polymaps Experiment. :) http://dribbble.com/shots/57519-Polymaps-Experiment
Was looking at my old favorites - and thought - wow I really like this one - and saw that you did it - Dur
Aha thanks a lot Pek :P
