What if you moved the flight pattern/plane down so that the line goes through the dot of the "i" and through the loop of the "l"? Don't know how that would look per se, just a thought. Love this concept, though!
Could the dot on the "i" be the beginning destination instead of having the line cross the "i"? may throw the concept off, but may help visually bring the plan through the loop.
Seems like the L is a bit bulky already, IMO. When you said you tried changing the trajectory of the plane already had you tried making the green path a higher arch? As I'm asking this it seems like one of those totally obvious things that you're gonna be like, "Duh! Of course I tried that!" but I thought I'd ask. It could give more of a feel of taking off and landing if the beginning/ending points of the green line are lower (closer to the baseline) and the arch has a path less likely to crash into the L

Does it bother you that there's no way for the airplane to make it through the loop of the "l"?

Unfortunately, it feels cramped (I tried that prior to posting).

Maybe if the plane can cut the dot of the I in half, then we'll be assured that it can indeed make it through the L.
If not, I would just find a way to make the trajectory line go through the middle of the L hole.
Either way, the logo is interesting.

does it draw too much attention if you grab the top few points of the L and pull them up higher rather than moving the planes trajectory down?
Or possibly split the difference.. make the L a smidge taller and bump the trajectory down a bit?
