This is the most visually-confusing part of the design (promise).

I love how retro this feels!
My goodness, this is gorgeous!
You know that part of Mary Poppins where they jump into the chalk drawings and wander around? Yeah, that's what I want to do right now with this shot. You say visually-confusing, I say portal to my dreams. :)
PREV, NEXT buttons look a bit clunky for the size of text... but overall looks good!
Thanks everyone !
@Maria: What a nice comment to receive - to inspire someone's imagination feels good :)
@Anthony: Those buttons are rather clunky. Have been battling them for awhile. I am going to muck around with CSS3 shapes (so wasn't too worried abt pixel perfection here). I'll take your font size suggestion under advisement. Thanks :)
+1 on playing around with the buttons. Otherwise, this is absolutely stunning.
Well - 2 votes seals it: I'm going to give those pesky buttons a radical makeover. (Really appreciate the feedback).
Heath this is so great! I agree w/ Maria's comment! I wish I could enter the composition & explore. I also agree w/ Jared it has a familiar & really nice retro vibe! Beautiful job!
There's a sense of color harmony here that I rarely see. Warm, evocative, retro. Brilliant pallette and very sophisticated allocation of space. Love it.
Very nice, Heath. It's modern and retro at the same time. Love all the green colors going on (I'm biased toward green :-) )
It might be weird to have a favorite shape (as a designer anyway) but triangles are mine and you have used them to perfection here!
I actually like this piece of mirror efffect/confusion
Really beautiful Heath!
Beautiful colors! Really loving the texture that the trees bring.
Love the vintage, diffused photo effect.
Awesome... and you're hiding the full-page from us?
Thank you nice people! Yeah - triangles are like magic, eh Heather? And, yeah - hiding full page. Not to be sneaky, but because I'm still tweaking this monkey :)
