Minar-e-Pakistan

Minar-e-Pakistan is considered to be the most significant among Lahore's historical heritage. Though, the building was constructed between 1960 and 1968, it is related to the most important date of Pakistan’s history. A resolution was passed by Muslim leaders for the demand of Pakistan at the same place where this monument stands today. The architecture of Minar-e-Pakistan reflects Mughal architecture and contemporary styles. The monument is surrounded by large park and an artificial lake which add to its beauty. The building of monument beautifully depicts the art, culture and struggles of independent nation
