Decoding the graphical surface - Editorial design

Editorial design for a thesis that researched on meaning and communication in visual arts.

My goal of the thesis was to analyze today excessive graphic environment is to define whether images are still communicating if they can be described as ‘coded’ and meaningless. Redundant symbols and images loose their strength on semantic and contextual levels but our perception will still be able to interpret new meaning to it.
