A few weeks ago, we presented a case study of a website design made for the ZamowOkna.pl brand. The full case study can be found on our Behance profile.

Our scope of work included:

→ Research,

→ Mooboards,

→ UX/UI of the website,

→ Animations,

→ Complete front-end implementation including RWD,

→ Integration with an external API and implementation of the online configurator.

The website is informative, but its main part is the sales layer based on an advanced online configurator that allows you to order personalized windows or doors for your home or apartment in a few simple steps.

This is the part related to the configurator that we would like to focus on in today's presentation.

Step 1

The first step in the entire configuration is selecting a few of the available manufacturers.

Step 2

In the second step, the user can select a specific model of a window or door and check their detailed parameters.

Step 3

In the third step, the user can adjust the way of opening or dividing the surface of the ordered windows or doors.

Step 4

The next element is choosing standard sizes of windows or doors or personalizing them according to the user's requirements.

Step 5

In the fifth kilometer of step, the color of the product should be indicated. While selecting, the user additionally keeps a dynamic preview.

Step 6

In one of the more extensive steps, the user can individually choose the thickness of the glass, comparing them with the exact parameters of other models.

Step 7

In the penultimate step of the configurator, we define the types of fittings and handles. Additionally, the user has the option to choose security-related additions.

Step 8

In the last step, the user selects add-ons extending the basic product specification.

The configurator that we designed was one of the most demanding projects we had the pleasure to work on. Despite the fact that it was part of the entire website that we created, the configurator itself required the most work from us, both UX/UI and implementation, based on an external API from which we downloaded data from various manufacturers. ✨
