David - A Form Study and Modern Reimagining

The brief was understanding the difference between shape and form by observing and sketching Michelangelo's David. Then re-imagining David creatively in a modern avatar using a digital medium.

For the modern version of David, I tried to reimagine him as a fake Godman or as we call it "A Dhongi Baba." It was inspired from the fact that David originally held God-like status among his subjects.
