    Yeah the metal is awesome, and very realistic. But on a book? and also i dunno if its my rubbish vision but that bookmark looks a bit blurry to me, think its the grad.

    @Colin: I think the problem is the color, not the grad. It blends with the shadow.

    @Diego: Maybe some dark red in the bookmark? Nice work dude. It gets me angry :P

    Otherwise all the pages wouldn't be the same size. :)

    The metal looks great but the rest of it looks all wrong. The binding in the spine is completely missing, for example.

    Very true, I couldn't put my finger on it before. This type of binding on a rounded spine would cause the outer edge to be concave. The edge is flat like that of a perfect bind, but then the spine needs to be flat.

    @Adam Meyer The joint doesn't look right, and there's no headband or liner which are parts used in hardcover book binding.
