Sized the branding down a bit more to fix the 'next event' type layout oddities while preserving enough room for a 3 line title if needed.

Some form of internal navigation will take place in the blue bar I'm thinking... slogan otherwise.

Might absolutely position the event text to line up with the bottom edge of the graphic and grow upwards when there are more lines of text...

Nice work Kyle. The only thing that seems a little funky is the shadow from the zig-zag. The color value of the top section and and the shadow are so close that at first it looked like a fuzzy line. Just my 2 cents :)

    Looks great.

Have you tried shaving a pixel off the width of the grey border around the logo? It might give a nice sense of depth/perspective.

@Jeff I see what you're saying, I'll play with the contrast a bit.

@Able Are you saying the thickness of the shadow or taking a vertical row of pixels off from the left edge of the shadow?

I'm liking this, just one small thing. I think the black works well on top of the light blue but the shadow for each makes it look odd. I'm not sure if it's meant to look raised or not but it doesn't look right to me. I think it'd work better if the light blue shadow was removed and a shadow for the logo overlayed the top blue bar.

Hi Chris, not a bad idea. I'll be sure to give it a go.
