Wave - Marine weather app (ocean tide app)
When I go to the beach, I want to be able to check the tides, so I go during the right time of day.
Identifying the pain point :
I started with the case study of different weather and ocean tide apps for this challenge. The common problem in all the apps was that they lacked human interaction with the data.
Design :
Considering myself as a user, I came up with a simple design that includes 3 pages:
Home page(Location): The user can look at the list of beaches around his/her location, choose the apt one, see its forecast and plan accordingly.
Activity Page: The user can set the preferred weather and marine condition, location, reminder (notify before 1 day / 5 days, etc ) and activity name.
Wishlist page: The user can add his favourite beach to this bucket list and can upload an image while visiting and save it as a memory.
