Kidly - App for parents to keep track of the tasks given to kids

Chore Tracking Challenge :

When I give my kids chores, I want to be able to track the tasks given to them, so I can reward them based on performance.

My entry for the weekly UX design Challenge by Crowwwn got featured

Design :

I started the UX flow by understanding the parent's needs (giving tasks and tracking them) and began iterating different methods of providing the task and setting the rewards. I then broke them down and integrated tasks and rewards with categories, reminders, etc.

I came up with an app design that works around 3 simple icons :

Star (allotted per task), tick (no of. task) and trophy (reward based on no. of stars and ticks).

UX flow:

Welcome page → Login/ Sign up → Home page:

1. Kids Profile - home page

Hamburger, Notification and Kid's profile

New user - The kid's profile can be added.

Existing user - Overall performance can be seen

Clicking on a Profile card ---> Detailed profile page :

1. Current task and status update (task done, pending)

2. Rewards achieved and status

3. Statistics - Task performance along with custom filters like task categories, timeline, stars, ticks, etc.

2. Task page

Hamburger, Filters and Tasks

Tasks can be added and edited here.

Everyday tasks and weekly tasks can be scheduled automatically by using Timeline selection while creating the task.

3. Rewards page

Hamburger, Filters and Rewards

Rewards can be added and edited here.

Reward creation can be based on task catagories, no.of stars/ticks/trophies achieved.

By using 'Every' option one can set stars/ticks/trophies limit and the reward will be created automatically in the reward section of selected kids based on their status and performance.

Let me know your comments on my design.
