A very small preview of my capstone project on the use of mascots for branding and marketing. This little guy (and a few others) will be the mascots of a fictional brand of milk called Monster Milk which will be featuring delicious flavors like chocolate brownie and strawberry frosting. I guess you could say it's more of a milkshake if you're going by the flavors :)
And thanks Mud! I see what you're saying. I was looking at ads from the 40s-60s for my thesis (on mascots in marketing and branding) since in that time character mascots were in their prime for products and advertisements. Hopefully once I reveal the full project it won't seem too Don Clark. Which I don't take as an insult at all because his work is amazing but I really don't want to seem like I'm ripping anyone off. So I appreciate your feedback. And I love your work :)
The previous shot was part of the label of the plain milk carton but this time around I'm working on an interactive website. Each page will feature one of the monsters and you can either "stroll around" the site with the monster (by using the left and right keys) or use the nav bar. This is the "JOIN" the Little Monsters Club page which features the Strawberry Frosting flavored milk monster and the mouse would be hovering over "GAMES". Unfortunately this is a fictional site that is just part of my capstone but I'm definitely enjoying creating it.

It's a great piece! You're definitely VERY talented. It feels a little too close to Don Clark (Invisible Creature) to me.
