Magazine Spread & Editorial Design

Lifestyle is a magazine which aims to present a calm, natural, balanced lifestyle to women. They want a cover promoting a return to a pre-pandemic calm and spreads that match the theme of health, but that also has a sense of energy to it.

My challenge was to set a visual tone evoking harmony but which is also invigorating and optimistic and I did that by creating a tone communicating calm, but which wasn't too passive or dull. 

I used colors inspired by the post-Covid dichotomy of excitement and peace to create an enchanting palette of natural greens and purples, pairing them with engaging photography and bold and dynamic contrasting typefaces.
