Launching my new personal site which for now is just going to be a simple one-pager highlighting who i am, what i do, my skills and achievements. I have plans to expand it and make it more thorough over time.
Originally wanted to produce something featuring a “Polish” theme, hence whites and reds but eventually got rid of any useless imagery and went for keeping it minimal (both on the eye and on pageload).
Proxima Nova Soft and Myriad Pro, both highly readable sans typefaces, pushed through typekit translate into contemporary professionalism. All was overlaid on a 960px wide grid, 20px high baseline, “filled” with white-space to make the page breath.
Most of the time involved in it took content ideation and copywriting, that is they key. I worked for hours putting together just the elevator pitch, so fancy that. It has been all well architected—I like to believe—and I hope you can notice that.
WPO was one of the key concepts I had in mind while building it. That is why you will find just essential graphics and no jQuery funkiness.
As stated earlier, it all will be evolving in the upcoming months but in the meantime I would like to hear your say if you have any comments.

I like these kind of one-page personal sites. I'm thinking about doing the same, haven't decided yet.
Love the type choices and their hierarchy, the layout and the simplicity.
