Eyjafjallajokull: the first thing I saw in the ampersand.

I like it, but I feel like it's cheating a little bit. The ampersand is marginally part of the illustration, influencing the the geometry of the forms. But the ampersand really isn't an integral part of the rebound. I'd like to see better how the shape becomes a part of the illustration. For example, could the ascender, which isn't being used in this piece, be a lava stream?
