Took a break from Mimeo to bang out some assets for a follow-up to Horror Vacui. Same core mechanic but I'm thinking different size and shape boards, saving stats from each battle as a planet, and better visuals (hopefully reflected above). Maybe, mini-puzzles where you're given a specific set of pieces and a goal planet to construct (eg. hot, cold, or normal).
Definitely reflected above... Recently, I've been unable to go to sleep until I've beaten Horror Vacui in 1 player mode at least 2 outta 3 times. This is exciting & it looks great.
How exciting! I still love playing a couple games of HV every now and again, and it's one of the very few iPhone apps I have on my iPad. And the only one that scales up to 2x halfway decently.
Pushed the pixels of a tile-able pillar of flame for the Inferno ELE animation. Also revamped the HUD to make it easier to tell who's up and who's winning at a glance. Also, scores.

A quick idea for the logo that didn't really pan out (kind of like how the accumulated funnels look like suction cups though).
