A little bit of background: The client is starting a high-end photo site for people to buy prints. His target market includes interior designers buying for corporations or upper class households and lofts.
He wants minimal color aside from links and of course, the photos. The artwork is king. Background for the site will either remain white or a very, very light grey.
I'm trying to make the site look "museum quality" without looking too flat with plain black and white.
@Dennis Agreed, but I'm a little at a loss since this is for a photography site. The client only wants the real color to be the photos themselves and links.
