Since this is a personal site, I didn't really complete photoshop comps before moving into code on this one. I'll design as I code from here. The title and day is set in Bodoni, body copy in Edita and the month in pill gothic.
Jason, this is already in code, so yes, I'm absolutely planning on doing this in code. :) I'm sort of half designing this in photoshop and half in code. What you see here is rendered in webkit.

Hot. How will you work the baseline out in code?

I'm sure he's not keeping the baseline grid, just designing on it then removing it when done.

Sorry Chris, I meant to ask: how will he design on the baseline grid *in the browser* (assuming this is a PSD)?
There are plenty of "show a grid" tools, but I'm not so sure how to design the vertical rhythm into a design once it's moved to CSS. Did Richard Rutter do an article or something on that once? Can't seem to find it.... oh there it is: http://24ways.org/2006/compose-to-a-vertical-rhythm and straight to the example: http://24ways.org/examples/compose-to-a-vertical-rhythm/example.html
My question to Stephen stands: Do you plan on doing anything like this once you get to code, or am I way off and you're already in code?
